Happy Birthday Dear House!
There's a list of projects hanging on our fridge. They are the preliminary projects that need to be finished before we start the next BIG project (finishing the basement, or maybe remodeling the kitchen). It is not a short list.
It is soooooo easy to get caught up in how much there is to do around here in this journey to make this place sparkle. I've been thinking a lot lately about how much we have already accomplished and when I went back to take a little inventory I noticed that TODAY is exactly one year from the day we signed the papers and received the keys for this house. And so, Happy Birthday Dear House, and as Ben shovels away the last of the junk heap that is the remnants of our yard overhaul, I will choose to focus on the amazing progress we've made here already and look forward to all the future projects that will continue to make this house our home!
